Cloud Software Group, Inc., and Microsoft Corp. have announced an extension of their partnership through an eight-year strategic agreement. Cloud Software Group will invest $1.65 billion in Microsoft's cloud and generative AI capabilities.

The alliance strengthens the longstanding partnership between Citrix and Microsoft, positioning Citrix as the preferred Microsoft Global Azure Partner solution for Enterprise Desktop as a Service. To boost collaboration and productivity, Cloud Software Group will transition all employees to Microsoft 365, providing them with top-tier productivity and AI tools.
