SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT - CITRIX XENSERVER 8 NOW INCLUDED IN CITRIX SUBSCRIPTIONS

In line with this strategy, Citrix's has significantly streamlined their offerings, enriching them with value to assist customers in overcoming a broad range of application delivery challenges in today's hybrid multi-cloud environment. 

What's changed?

Due to the high demand from Citrix customers for access to XenServer 8, they have simplified deployment for Citrix workloads. As of June 3, XenServer Premium is now included with the following subscriptions: 

• Citrix for Private Cloud
• Citrix Universal Hybrid Multi-Cloud
• Citrix Platform License

XenServer offers premium hypervisor capabilities specifically optimized for Citrix workloads to  Citrix platform customers. By utilizing XenServer for Citrix workloads, customers can reduce costs on third-party hypervisor solutions and enhance the Citrix deployment. XenServer provides exclusive optimizations for Citrix, including PVS Accelerator, Intellicache, and MCS Read Cache.
